Andino Design was built on the desire to connect two parts of the world (South America and Australia) through design pieces that tell a story. In doing so, we also made a genuine commitment to promoting the cultural heritage of South America and the work of designers and artisans, developing a circular economy that gives back to Andean communities, providing an opportunity to continue sharing their craftsmanship and traditions.
As Andino Design is built on a foundation of sustainability and ethical practices, it was a natural step to find packaging that is aligned with our philosophy. Andino Design now proudly uses:
Shipping Boxes made of recycled and responsibly sourced (FSC certified) cardboard, which is plain in colour avoiding toxic and unnecessary ink.
PPS Kraft paper tape (FSC certified) to seal our boxes. This tape is made of plant-based and organic materials and is 100% recyclable.
Recycled kraft paper to fill space in boxes, which is 100% recyclable after use.
Beautiful NoIssue tissue paper which fully breaks down within 180 days in a home compost and 90 days in a commercial composting facility. Logo printed in soy ink and paper FSC certified.
