In the early 1950s, the architect and cermist Colette Boccara created a unique enamel stoneware pieces in Mendoza, with a strong local identitiy, this ceramic is made with red clay, extracted from The Andes Mountains. COLBO plates are handcrafted in Argentina from red porcelain and vitreous enamel coating (glass-like coating), which guarantees a high-degree of hardness perfect for tableware and food safe.
